Jacob Bertrand Bio

Jacob began his career in acting at a very young age. In 2008, he earned a minor role in the film ‘House.’ This was his debut role and he was just eight years old at the time. Since then, he has featured in numerous advertisements, films and series. He has appeared as a guest star on the NBC comedies ‘Community and Parks Recreation.’ He also voiced the character of Gil on the Nickelodeon animated series ‘Bubble Guppies.’ His dedication and talent have helped him achieve what most kids only dream of. Jacob’s appeared in the Disney Channel Orignial Movie called ‘The Swap.’ In this movie, he played the character Jack Malloy. The movie premiered in the early months of 2016.

Jacob’s skills are not only limited to acting. He also voices several cartoon characters. The most famous character he has voiced till now is that of Monty from the Disney movie ‘Rise of the Guardians.’ He appeared in the Disney Channed Original Movie called ‘The Swap.’ He played the lead role along with Peyton List. The movie is based on a young adult novel of the same name by Megan Shull. The movie attracted a total of 2.64 million viewers and a 0.48 million-viewer rating for people aged from 18-49 during its premiere. ‘The Swap’ is one of the most successful projects of Jacob’s career. He has a wide range of skills including singing and dancing. He is hard working and has a passion for sports as well.

Jacob Bertrand was a part of a charity fundraising event for cancer patients in May 2015. The event included a set of activities that people were allowed to participate in. The ticket money went into the chairty fund. Jacob participated in a Nerf gun shooting activity and also tweeted about it.

In October 2016, Jacob attended the 27th annual celebrity fundraiser, A Time for Heroes, hosted by the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. The event aimed to spread awareness about HIV and it also offered encouragement to HIV positive people. The attendees celebrated at the event by helping kids create characters at the Nickelodeon activity and photo booth, and at the ‘mad scientist’ activation center.

Jacob is very close to his family. He likes biking and hanging out with his brother Blake. He loves nature and sunsets. Cookies, ice cream and Trader Joes’ orange chicken are his favourite foodstuffs. He is not only a good actor but is also exceptionally good at singing and dancing. He loves playing his guitar. He is extremely fond of sports and loves playing basketball. He also goes cycling and swimming on a regular basis. Jacob plays soccer as well and has been playing competitively for over nine years. He is also a part of his high school soccer team. 

Jacob Bertrand has romantically linked to television actress Peyton List.

Jacob loves dogs and has two of them named Arista and Rocky. He also loves old school music and listens to Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pink Floyd and Pearl Jam.
