Before starting her acting career, Constance Marie appeared as a dancer in a musical titled ‘Cosmopolis’. Soon after this, she was hired for the ‘Glass Spider Tour’. She then made her acting debut in the 1988 movie ‘Salsa’. The same year, she appeared in the TV series ‘Dirty Dancing’. The following year, Constance Marie got featured in the soap opera ‘Santa Barbara’. After this, she guest-starred in a few TV shows such as ‘The Man in the Family’, ‘Jake and the Fatman’, ‘Sibs’, ‘1992 Reasonable Doubts’ and ‘Hat Squad’.

Then in 1993, the actress did the TV movie titled ‘12:01’ which was followed by the TV movies ‘Island City’ and ‘Fast Company’ in 1994 and 1995 respectively.
