Brandi Maxiell first appeared on television in 2010 on the documentary series ‘E! True Hollywood Story.’ After this, she got featured on the television series ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’. Her marriage to NBA player Jason Maxiell gave her the opportunity to become a reality TV personality and she became one of the cast members of ‘Basketball Wives LA’ in 2015. Although the lady was found “boring” by the other female members of the show, she still managed to stay in the limelight throughout the show.

One of the reasons for her popularity on ‘Basketball Wives’ was that she used the platform to share her stories on ovarian cancer. This in turn raised her to fame and ultimately, she became a reality TV star. After this, she was invited as a guest on the show ‘Access Hollywood Live’ in the year 2016. Later on, Maxiell became a social media star as well. Today, she has an incredible fan following on popular social networking sites like Instagram and Twitter. Apart from all these things, the American personality is a successful businesswoman as well. She has her own salon named ‘Midway Salon & Suites’.

Brandi Maxiell was born as Brandi M. Duncan on May 21, 1983 in Dallas, TX. She was raised by a single mother, Terri Duncan. In the year 2007, she graduated from University of North Texas. She married NBA player Jason Maxiell in 2010. The couple met when they were in high school.

At the age of 24, Brandi Maxiell was diagnosed with ovarian cancer after which she had to go through multiple chemotherapy treatments before being proclaimed cancer-free in 2008. She once stated that the disease started in the reproductive tract and soon it began to affect her eggs. As she was fortunate to be diagnosed when the disease was in stage 1, she soon recovered after battling the disease for a short duration of time. In November 2011, Brandi and Jason welcomed their first baby boy.
