Alastair created his YouTube channel in 2006, but it was not until 2009, that he started uploading videos. His videos featured his recorded gameplays in the immensely popular First Person Shooter video game ‘Call of Duty’. During the initial days, his videos did not receive many views but gradually they started doing the rounds of social media and soon gamers from around the world noticed his spectacular style. He hit the 1 million subscribers mark in 2013, and the 8 million subscriber mark by 2016. Talk about a meteoric rise!

His channel not only features gameplay walkthroughs that guide first-timers through various challenging levels of the game, but he also reveals tips and tricks, various reviews on the game and its levels, news about upcoming Call of Duty releases, and various gaming hardware as well.

His channel provides gamers with all information available regarding Call of Duty and its various franchises like Call of Duty4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: WWII. His primary channel AliA holds 2 Guinness Book of World Records for being the most subscribed channel and most viewed channel for Call of Duty on YouTube.

His second channel ‘MoreAliA’ involves his gameplay in other gaming titles like Pokemon Go, Minecraft, Mario, etc. He released his Pixelmon series (Playing Minecraft with a Pixelmon Mod that adds Pokemon-related items/mobs) in the channel which catapulted into YouTube success. He has also released the Ali-A's Adventure series for Minecraft which was a huge success as well.

Alastair's second channel is fast catching up to his primary one in terms of views and subscribers. Launched in 2013, it already has around 12 million subscribers and over 3.5 billion views! He has also launched 2 more channels named ‘Ali-A Plays’ and ‘Clare & Ali’ where he stands host to a combined subscriber family of over 1.2 million.

Since 2014, Alastair Aiken has hosted two consecutive seasons of a gaming tournament titled ‘Legends of Gaming’. Although the first season did not attract much traffic, the second season went on to become a huge success. In the second season, he went up against gaming legends like Diamond Minecart, TwiinSane, AshleyMariee, and Syndicate. He won the tournament by beating TwiinSane in the finals.

Alastair has an online portal where he sells personalized merchandise like exclusive Ali-A branded T-shirts, caps, backpacks, and more. He also has a sponsorship deal with Monster Beverages and gets paid every time he promotes their products in his videos.

Alastair Aiken was born on November 6, 1993, in London, England, and currently resides at a palatial condo in the same city. He grew up with a brother named Simon who has also been featured in some of his videos. Despite being a successful online media personality, most of his personal matters have not been revealed online.

He has announced in one of his vlogs that he was a subject of bullying in high school, although he hasn’t revealed the name of his school. The identity of his parents remains a mystery.

Since 2015, Alastair is in a relationship with another YouTube personality and Social Media star, Clare Siobhan, who is also associated with the gaming community through her ties to Xbox where she works as a marketing professional. In 2019, the couple got engaged. They walked down the aisle in 2021. In July 2022, Alastair and Clare announced that they were expecting their first child together.

Alastair owns a number of gaming consoles like Xbox, Xbox 360, and PlayStations 3 and 4. He even plays games on his iPhone, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, and Alienware PC.
