Adam Hicks is an American actor and rapper, who gained fame following his leading role of Joe Guide in the children's comedy film ‘How to Eat Fried Worms’. In 2000, he debuted on television in the series ‘Titus’, followed by small roles in the television movie ‘The Funkhousers’ and the pilot episode of the TV series ‘That Was Then’, both in 2002. In 2005, he made his film debut in the comedy film ‘Down and Derby’, and also appeared in the movie ‘The 12 Dogs of Christmas’. However, he is best known for his portrayal of Luther in the Disney XD series ‘Zeke and Luther’ and Wendell "Wen" Gifford in the musical telefilm ‘Lemonade Mouth’. The latter, in which he played the role of a member of the eponymous band, let him explore his musical talents, too. His next big role was King Boz in the Disney XD series ‘Pair of Kings’, which started its first season in 2012. He has continued to appear in a number of other TV series throughout the years, including ‘Jonas’, ‘PrankStars’, ‘Southland’, ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’, ‘Texas Rising and Freakish’. In 2015, he also acted in the independent drama film ‘Windsor’ and erotic thriller film ‘The Boy Next Door’.

Acting Career
Adam Hicks loved to perform in front of his parents as a child and later became a part of a Tom Sawyer play at school. A local talent scout agency picked him up to perform around Las Vegas after they saw his performance in the play. He started his acting career at the age of seven when he portrayed one of the main characters on the Fox dark comedy series Titus, appearing as the younger Dave Titus, half-brother of the protagonist. He appeared on a number of telefilms and TV series in the following years, and debuted on the big screen in 2005, portraying the role of Brady Davis in the feature film Down and Derby. However, his big break came in 2006 when he appeared in the lead role of Joe Guide in the film How to Eat Fried Worms. It was followed by a supporting role in the movie Mostly Ghostly in 2008. The next year, he was cast in the Disney XD sitcom Zeke and Luther as one of the co-leads, Luthisour "Luther" Waffles. After the series ended in 2012, he bagged a lead role in another Disney XD sitcom, Pair of Kings, which ran successfully for three seasons. He played the role of King Boz, replacing the character of King Brady portrayed by Mitchel Musso.

Music Career
Passionate about music since he was a child, Adam Hicks achieved success as a hip-hop singer-songwriter following his acting fame. His first recorded song was a remake of the MC Hammer song "U Can't Touch This" in which he appeared as a featured artist with fellow ‘Zeke and Luther’ co-star Daniel Curtis Lee. It was followed by a remix of the song "In the Summertime" by Mungo Jerry. The music videos for both the songs were shown on Disney XD in 2009 and became part of ‘Zeke and Luther’ soundtrack. He finally got to combine two of his passions, acting and singing, when he starred as Wendell "Wen" Gifford in the 2011 teen musical film Lemonade Mouth. The soundtrack album Lemonade Mouth was released on April 12, 2011. Along with his band members, he performed four of the songs and also contributed to the lyrics of three of the songs. The album peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200. Around the same time, he was working on a single titled "We Burnin' Up", which featured Chris Brochu in the music video. He later got signed to Walt Disney Records. He also performed the opening theme song "You Never Know" for the Disney XD original series Mighty Med.

Adam Hicks was born on November 28, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Lucy and Ronald Hicks. He has a sister named Tristan. Since his childhood days, he showed interest in many things including skateboarding, dancing, playing the drums, rapping and writing songs. He later moved to Los Angeles, California, following his acting success. He is very fond of pets and has five cats and two dogs.

Adam Hicks became involved in a relationship with Brianna Mccraken in 2008. They dated for two years before separating in 2010. He was later linked to co-star Chelsea Ricketts, who appeared on one episode of the series Zeke and Luther. After his mother passed away in November 2015, a source close to him confirmed the rumored relationship by stating that Chelsea helped him cope with the ordeal by staying by his side during this time.
