One of the most successful Latin American recording artists, she is also one of the world's best-selling music artists. Her first hit album was Pies Descalzos after which she entered the English music market with her big hit album, Laundry Service.

Sofia Vergara is a Colombian-American actress, model, and TV producer. She is one of the highest-paid actresses in American TV. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as a TV host. She began gaining popularity as an actress in the 2000s and appeared in many TV shows and films. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including an NAACP Image Award.

Kali Uchis is an American singer who sings in English and Spanish languages. Uchis achieved international recognition after the release of her hit debut studio album Isolation. Over the course of her career, Kali Uchis has received several prestigious awards such as the Grammy Award, Billboard Music Award, and American Music Award.

Lupe Fuentes had started out as a porn actor, with her own website, at 19. The Colombian artist later stepped into music, joining the group The Ex-Girlfriends. Now a social-media influencer and a house music DJ/producer, Lupe lives in Los Angeles and is married to actor/singer Evan Seinfeld.

Colombia-born American actor Isabella Gomez is best known as the lesbian character Elena Alvarez from the sitcom One Day at a Time. Being an only child of her parents, she mostly grew up watching TV shows and later plunged into acting. She has also appeared in Matador and Modern Family.

Colombian-born actor Zulay Henao made headlines for her relationship with Entourage actor Kevin Connolly, after an Instagram post in 2021 declared they were expecting a child. She had plunged into acting after serving in the U.S. Army for 3 years and later gained fame with series such as The Oath.

Carmen Villalobos is a Colombian actress best known for her role in the telenovela Sin senos no hay paraíso, for which she won a Your World Award. She started acting as a teenager and initially appeared in small roles in TV shows. As her career progressed, she was able to bag more substantial roles in both TV shows and films.

Tagged by the media as Boxing’s First Lady, Norwegian boxer/kickboxer Cecilia Braekhu scripted history by becoming the first female boxer to hold the WBA, IBF, WBC, and WBO titles at the same time. Colombian-born Braekhu was adopted by a Norwegian couple as a 2-year-old and began boxing as a teenager.

Red Velvet is a professional wrestler who is currently signed to AEW. Prior to joining All Elite Wrestling, Velvet was part of the independent circuit from 2016 to 2021. She was also a part of the Fighting Evolution Wrestling promotion where she held the FEW Women's Championship title. Apart from being a professional wrestler, Red Velvet is also a dancer.

Danna García is a Colombian model and actress best known for her portrayal of leading roles in popular telenovelas in Mexico, Colombia, and the US. García achieved popularty in the early 2000s when she starred in a Colombian telenovela titled Pasión de Gavilanes, which was released internationally as Hidden Passion.

Nina García is a Colombian-American fashion journalist. She is the current editor-in-chief of Elle and has been a judge on the Bravo/Lifetime reality TV program Project Runway. She has a degree in fashion merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and has worked with the prominent fashion designer Marc Jacobs. She is the author of four books. 

Virginia Vallejo is a Colombian journalist and author. After Vallejo claimed that many Colombian politicians and presidents were benefiting from the leading cocaine cartels, she was granted asylum in the USA in order to help the DEA and the Justice Department in cases pertaining to the Colombian drug cartels. Her book, Loving Pablo, Hating Escobar, was made into a film.

Omayra Sánchez was a Colombian girl who died at age 13. After the Nevado del Ruiz volcano erupted in 1985, a massive lahar demolished her home and Sánchez was trapped in the water beneath the debris of her home. She died after struggling for 60 hours, and has remained a prominent figure in popular culture; she is remembered through music.

Sabina Mazo is a Colombian MMA fighter who competes in the flyweight division. A former Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) champion, Mazo has also competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Over the course of her career, Sabina Mazo has secured victories over popular fighters like Justine Kish, JJ Aldrich, and Shana Dobson.  

Diana Turbay was a Colombian journalist best remembered as the victim of the Medellín Cartel, a highly organized Colombian terrorist organization and drug cartel, which kidnapped her in 1990. She then became a victim of a botched rescue attempt by the Colombia National Police in which she was killed. Turbay's story has been adapted into a book and TV series.

Colombian archer Sara López competes in compound-archery. She holds several world-records including one for a 15-arrow round. She shot a perfect 150 at stage 3 of World Cup in 2013 becoming the first woman to do so and attained her highest world-ranking of 3 that year. Achievements of López include winning Archery World Cup six-times in compound women’s individual event.  

María Camila Osorio Serrano is a Colombian tennis player who competes in the WTA Tour and the ITF Circuit. She first achieved popularity in 2018 when she won silver and a bronze medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. María Camila Osorio Serrano also represents her country in important tournaments like the Billie Jean King Cup.

Manuela Escobar is a Colombian businesswoman. The daughter of famous Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, Manuela enjoyed a lavish childhood. However, her life changed drastically at the age of nine when her father was killed by Colombian National Police. Since then, Manuela Escobar has maintained a low profile.

Maria Victoria Henao is the widow of Colombian drug lord and narcoterrorist Pablo Escobar. She was only 13 when she fell in love with Escobar, who was several years her senior. Her parents disapproved of the relationship, and so, the couple eloped. They had two children and she remained loyal to him despite his infidelities. Escobar was killed in 1993.

When former antiques dealer Stella Arroyave first met Hollywood star Anthony Hopkins, he was still married to Jennifer Lynton. Colombian-born Stella, now Hopkins’s third wife, had bumped into him when he had visited her Los Angeles store to buy some furniture. Stella later also experimented with acting and writing.

Andrea Espada is a Colombian TV presenter, social media influencer, and actress. She achieved popularity as the host of UFC Now as well as a game show titled Esto es Guerra. Andrea Espada is also popular on social media platforms like Instagram. 

Anllela Sagra is a Colombian fitness model who has been serving as an inspiration to a lot of young women around the world. Her Instagram page, which has more than 12 million followers, houses pictures and videos that give a glimpse of her ripped physique.

Daniela Ospina is a Colombian model, volleyball player, and businesswoman. She has represented the Colombia volleyball team and was also part of Antioquia. She has also appeared in TV shows like Dancing with the Stars. Daniela Ospina made headlines when she started dating Colombian footballer James Rodríguez. Their wedding was highly publicized in Colombia.

Colombian football midfielder Daniela Montoya currently plays for the Columbia women's national team and Atlético Junior. She was part of the national squad during FIFA Women's World Cup in 2011 and 2015, and the 2012 Summer Olympics. Her goal in a 1–1 draw with Mexico at the 2015 World Cup was counted among the best goals of the tournament.

Power Paola is a Colombian-Ecuadorian cartoonist and author of graphic memoirs. Paola's work deals with themes of feminism, sexuality, personal identity, and family. One of her best-known works, Virus Tropical, was adapted into a film in 2017. Power Paola is also known as one of the most important members of a comics collective called Chicks on Comics.
